hiding in shadows

we hide in dark shadows
whispering forbidden wishes
to never be heard outside
our presence, but things
that are done in the dark
have a way of being revealed
in the light and secret rendezvous
and kisses shatter those glasshouses
we build around ourselves

    Yes, those shadows eventually fade into the light. I especially love the image of shattering glasshouses with secrets.
