shadows of silence
sitting in this room
late afternoon sun shining
through blinds as I try
to keep breathing surrounded
by the shadows of silence

the last kiss
under cool moonlight
your soft lips caressing mine
making my heart swell
we did not know it would be
the last tender kiss we share

space between us
our journey road, long
space between us grows vaster
strain to hear your voice
echoing against mountains
carrying soft words of love
- Written in response to

buds of Spring
on a Spring morning
buds begin to break through vines
for you have return
to warm my ice cold heart that
has been weeping since autumn
birds sing melodies
our garden blooms once again
please just stay with me
let us chase the sun and moon
into summer’s horizons

moonlit night
on a moonlit night
we wrote poems to the stars
with such melodies
we seduced the moon into
our waiting arms with a kiss

valentine
funny valentine
is what I dreamed you would be
instead you became
my lost valentine that slipped
out my hands, forever gone

autumn at dusk
in autumn when dusk
arrives the sun begins to
write its farewell song
that will keep us warm on cold
winter nights until spring comes

eyes deep like oceans

eyes deep like oceans
was the thing that pulled me in
now I am drowning
emotions not felt in years
trying to stay above waves
