many have their eyes
fixed on the calendar
wondering when life
will return to normal,
to boring daily routines
many took for granted
I try not to obsess on
such dates – in reality,
life is always fluid –
you just have to follow
the currents

I like the use of the words "fluid" and "currents." Nice play on words!
ReplyDeleteOne day at a time...
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing but we do see to want those "boring daily routines" to return.
ReplyDeleteEven more true now than ever!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, a wise way of thinking.

I like the contrast between having eyes fixed on the calendar and the freedom of fluidity and following the currents. I’m not obsessing, although I’d like to visit my daughter, play with my grandson and drink a coffee that someone else has made.
ReplyDeleteGood advice. I find myself boring, but the days are not. Even in isolation, life is full.
ReplyDeleteAh, a smidge of positivity ... thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have found a new normal... but working from helps getting a routine.
ReplyDeleteI love the positive spin. We are walking more now, while working from home. Be safe and well.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the feeling of not caring what day it is, or even month. A good message that "life is always fluid".
ReplyDeleteFollowing the currents is a nice positive thought.
