imagine

they stand at the bus stop
on a cold morning
icy breath escapes their lips
as they wait for the bus

she closes her eyes to imagine
she is someplace else
a warm beach lounging
under palm trees sipping
ice cold cocktails until sunsets

  1. Sometimes imagining, is the only way to escape the cold. For us, we're blessed we could simply board a plane on January 4 and leave Boston's winter behind. Thanks for posting to the prompt!

  3. Reminds me of those old, "Calgon, take me away!" commercials. She's found a magic carpet in her mind :)
