until the sun goes down

let us not waste one minute of daylight
we can chase after pillowy clouds
dance with turquoise waves
taste sweet strawberries upon our tongue
as the afternoon sun blaze upon our skin
let us drink in the purple sky
until the sun goes down

  3. That sounds like a perfect summer day (and here in Sweden daylight almost seamlessly goes into the next day in summer)

  4. Your joyful quadrille had my heart skipping and chasing pillowy clouds, Maria! Great use of colour, too.

  6. Gorgeous word choices here, Arcadia. My favorite is the slant rhyme in tongue/sun. That falls so perfectly, as it's read.
