whirling

the world and life
has my head whirling
trying to find balance
in this topsy-turvy time

when your eyes cannot
decipher truth from lies
you find your hands
grasping for something
solid and calm

I watch autumn sun wane
as we fall into darkness

  3. Too many lies these days it can be quite deceiving. The transitional lines at the end cap it off nicely.

    1. How short are the daylight hours where you are Björn? I definitely felt better in general moving from the UK to Australia, when I finally got some sun!

  10. It seems quite a few of us haver arrived at such ponderings. Yours is very beautifully expressed – and if it falls on the side of despair, so do they all really, I think, even those which are basically saying, 'Let's console ourselves with what little we can.'
