and then there was you

I had kissed many frogs
danced with a few playboys
and charmed by romantics
eventually I resolved
to spend my years alone

and then there was you
who with magical kisses
danced into my heart
and charmed my soul
into loving once more

so I no longer dream
of those playboys, wonder
what happen to the frogs
or the romantics who
always faded away

for I now have you
and in this heart
there will only be you

  4. While I was reading, I found myself humming that song ’Till there was you’ by The Beatles. I know it isn’t your title exactly, but it just popped into y head!
This is such a sweet poem that gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. I even gave a little cheer. :)
