roar

they try to roar
over the white noise
to get their concerns
heard for once

but over and over
they are denied
their place at the table
by the powerful

yet we cannot let
our voices drown
but make them rise
and topple mountains

  1. Sounds like an important roar indeed. May each and every voice be heard. I love the visual "topple mountains" invokes. Great verb!

  4. A good aspiration, to make our voices rise and topple mountains.

  5. I wonder if we sometimes need to roar less to be heard... but it's so understandable that we try.
