cherry red sky

cherry red sky blossoms
as the sun takes her rest
under blankets by firepits
we wait for silver stars
and the ivory moon
to sing us tunes before
sleep lures us into dreams

Do you know of the folk rhyme; Red skies at night a sailors delight, Red in the morning sailors take warning.

    Nicely penned. :)
