catching up

under a summer sun 
we sat on porches 
catching up on days 
lost to other seasons 
 
we sip cool lemonade 
watching the sun 
dip from the sky 
waiting for the moon 
to impress our eyes 
 
we count the silver stars 
before we go inside

    Oh those first long days of late spring into summer, that is how it feels. I like the easy, relaxed feel of this. Nicely done.
