crimson wine
on
white carpets
or a
category
five
hurricane
let
this love
be a
beautiful
summer
day
or
the perfect
holiday
gift
let
this love
not
be my
ending
but
my
beginning

I
was lost
in a
sea
filled
with fear
mixed
with doom
with
no hope
I
closed my
eyes
praying
for
release
I
was found
by your
arms
gave
me hope
once
again

glorious November
the
air was too warm
for the
first of November
almost
felt like spring
rather
than mid-autumn
but I
inhaled that glorious
air
to savor it before
the
return of fall’s chill
