we
used to love the night sky
singing
poetic lines to the moon
but
after you departed my life
it
didn’t seem the same at all
I’ve
spent many nights collecting
moons
to replenish the dark sky
but
despite my best efforts
it
still wasn’t the same at all

moons to replenish the dark sky’.

Very moving, it feels like loss.
ReplyDeleteVery creative take 💕
ReplyDeletePoignant, Arcadia. Some losses cannot be fixed.
ReplyDeleteThis made my heart ache.
ReplyDeleteThere certainly is no fixing the feelings we have when looking at the moon, but it is still there and we may look together always.❤️🌙
