since you been gone

we used to love the night sky
singing poetic lines to the moon
but after you departed my life
it didn’t seem the same at all

I’ve spent many nights collecting
moons to replenish the dark sky
but despite my best efforts
it still wasn’t the same at all

  11. This made my heart ache.

There certainly is no fixing the feelings we have when looking at the moon, but it is still there and we may look together always.❤️🌙
