in the woods

rays of light
break through trees
morning sighs

forest green
grass awakes
our senses

it is here
we find peace
in our hearts

this rising

be prepared
to witness
this rising

a phoenix
that ascends
from ashes

I will soar
above this
dark chaos

joy

your smile
dazzling eyes
brings such joy

to my life
I dream this
love will last

until we
fade into
light stardust

- A tricube poem written for dVerse Poetics: Choose Joy

cool blue

in my dreams
all I see
cool blue sky

and your eyes
a soft brown
seduce me

with visions
of warm sun
silver stars

- Written for Twiglet#259 - cool blue in tricube form

between dreams

between dreams
and gentle
promises

I touch stars
lift the sun
to blue skies

your love song
makes us dance
day and night

as we fell

as we fell
into dreams
I knew then

this affair
would be my
undoing

still I took
the leap with
open eyes

Poem for today is a tricube poem:

“make me love you”

make me love
you again
touch my soul

with your eyes
and smile
like the sun

don’t let go
stay right here
never leave

Poem for the day - a tricube poem:

“a forsaken feeling”

his fingers
lingered a
bit too long

on her hands
as she wept
lust seeping

in his heart
the was claimed
already

Poem for today - another tricube poem

“losing hope”

I want to
believe in
the good of

man but then
the ugly
side comes out

and my heart
begins to
lose all hope

Poem for today - tricube poem

“I counted the ways to forget you”

I counted
the ways to
forget your face

so I could
move on to
a new love

then you came
back and I
stop counting
