Thought of the Day

Here's a little poem that was placed on my heart this morning:

It makes my heart sad

when I see people take

their rage and cause chaos

I wish they only knew

that I don’t hate you

I want you to look

past the boxes you

want to place me in

by sex, gender, race,

nationality or faith –

can you not see that

I’m human just like you
