"no words"
so many have put their grief
into words after such tragedies
I have done the same before
I remember that sad night in Paris
yet like clockwork other tragedies
come into the spotlight and
I find myself with no more
poetic words to spill
- Written for dVerse Quadrille 11 - still
Very moving. So sad that this kind of "inspiration" keeps occurring.
ReplyDeleteYes it is so sad but I am so glad you added your beautiful words.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a never ending cycle of violence and bloodshed ~
ReplyDeleteBut our words should keep flowing and spilling on the page
I think a lot of us feel that way. Words fail us.
ReplyDeleteI agree, and yet many of the biggest tragedies never even reach the news...
ReplyDeleteSometimes there just are no words.
ReplyDeleteAnd sadly, the cycle continues...
ReplyDeleteI love your image of tragedies moving round like clockwork, as if they are recurring and inevitable. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for reading and commenting.
ReplyDeleteSigh... like a mechanical clock, will these eventually come to an end?
ReplyDeleteYou have hit the nail on the head: some happenings are beyond words - just horror.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very touching piece.
ReplyDeleteWell expressed – and I know what you mean.
