a
whisper in the wind
calls
out my name
pulling
me out of dreams
far
off I hear bells chime
singing
in clear vowels
leading
me into sunlight
my
eyes greet cobalt sky
that
was once dark gray
now
shines like diamonds
- Written for Twiglet #318. I admit that this prompt had me stumped. I didn't now which way to go, but I really like the phrase. I decided to make it the title of the poem and go a bit abstract. Let me know what you think.
Works beautifully!

Delete(Jules) Your verse is perfect. The diamonds of morning dew in the dawn. I'm not an early riser myself... but I've gotten up a few times to watch the sunrise :)
